The difference between a dedicated home cinema and a media room can be small or can be quite big depending on your needs. The clients needs for this space was to make multi purpose room for the kids to game in, the man of the house to watch football in and the lady of the house wanted a clean aesthetic.
The room was built from the ground up in house and has a 7.2.2 Dolby atmos audio layout powered by the latest Marantz 8K receiver powering Monitor Audio speakers. Throw in a bit of Lutron lighting control, a remote from Control4 and a complete bespoke cinema build systems space frame and fabric track system.
The entire project was completed in ten days….
